Many of the hotels such as the Contemporary Resort and Polynesian are on the monorail, so you can easily ride to Epcot without using a car or riding a bus. Guest accommodations are much larger, and the Disney World environment is of course magical.

So how do you decide which resort to stay at? Well would you rather use your hard earned cash on gifts or indulge your family with the best, remember you are on vacation? Value options like the Pop Century can cost anywhere from $75 to $110 a night, while Deluxe Resorts start at $225 and go up from there. As you can tell, if you extrapolate that by 7 to 11 days, you could end up spending thousands more just for a better room.

The option belongs to the visitor, but no matter what you decide, you will be sure Disney World cast members will work hard to make sure you and your family have a great visit on your trip away from home.

Vacations in the Scottish town of Stirling And 3 Grand Visitor Attractions You Must See

Stirling has featured strongly in the history of Scotland, especially during crucially important events. The city and surrounding area has a fantastic selection of spectacular tourist attractions and a multitude of photo opportunities. Stirling Castle

Sat 250 feet above the city of Stirling, and surrounded on three sides by shear cliffs is Stirling Castle. Stirling Castle is very important in Scotland’s history, there have been many coronations within the castle, including Mary Queen of Scots’ in 1543. Stirling Castle was also witness to a horrifying murder in 1452. The eighth Earl of Douglas was victim to James II in 1452. The castle is home to the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders, although they are, unfortunately no longer stationed there. However, the regimental museum of the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders, can be found within the castle.

Stirling Old Town Jail

The Stirling Old Town Jail we see today was not the original jail, for four hundred years, Stirling’s prisoners were housed in the Old Tollbooth Jail. This jail was shockingly overcrowded, and smelt disgusting, with twenty four prisoners per cell, and no sanitary facilities. The Tollbooth jail was condemned, due to the awful living conditions there, and in 1847 the current jail opened. Although the jail was classed as a custodial jail, from 1888 to 1935, it was also the only military prison in Scotland. Today the Stirling Old Town Jail is a tourist attraction, and was only renovated in the 1990’s. As well as guided tours, there is a glass paneled elevator that transports one to a viewing deck at the very top of the jail. From commanding viewpoint you is able to gaze out across the Forth Valley, and enjoy the spectacular view of the Highland mountains.

Argyll’s Lodging

Argyll’s Lodging is found on Castle Wynd, situated in the center of Stirling and is Scotland’s best existing renaissance mansion. The house was built circa 1630, by Sir William Alexander, founder of Nova Scotia and Viscount Canada. Sir William Alexander who was appointed Secretary of State for Scotland, and was then appointed the 1st Earl of Stirling. Argyll’s Lodging became the property of the Argyll family on his death and was further extended by the 9th Earl in 1666. The rooms which include the laigh hall, dining room, drawing room and bed chamber, have all been carefully furnished and restored, as they would have looked when the ninth Earl lived there, around 1680.

The complete lack of traffic brings a feeling of peace and quiet as you walk from one fragment of history to the next. You do not need to stray too far before being hit by the ghastly, ear splitting roar of Florence’s legion of scooter riders. Apart from the Ponte Vecchio all of the bridges leading to centre of the city are polluted, noisy places, thus giving us a further reason to stay within the ancient alleyways and peaceful sanctuaries of Florence’s beautiful piazzas.

Tours, France

Tours is the ideal centre for discovering France’s beautiful Loire valley and its stunning chateaux The ideal centre for exploring the Loire Valley renowned for its amazing selection of palatial residences, the city has a few charms of its own. Although the little airport is but a couple of miles out of town, it’s almost essential that you rent a car at Tours airport to fully explore a selection of the most picturesque towns and villages to be found throughout France. Along the banks of the River Loire between Sully-sur-Loire and Chalonnes, a number of cultural treasures are presented for the tourist to feast their eyes on. The Loire valley is a UNESCO World Heritage site and offers scenic countryside, historic villages and lots of flamboyant castles. During the middle ages the Loire Valley was named the “Retreat of Kings and was a firm favourite of the French royal family. The Imposing Old Inverlochy Castle

The Old castle was rumoured to of been built around 1270-1280, by John “the Black” Comyn, Lord of Badenoch and Lochaber, and chief of the Clan Comyn. Even though the castle is ruined, the layout has not altered much since it was first built. Lord Abinger carried out alterations and enhancements to the house, for a visit by Queen Victoria. Old Inverlochy Castle remains an important part of Scottish and English history, because of the part it played during the Civil Wars of the 1640’s.

The Delightful Jacobite Steam Train

An excursion on the Jacobite Steam Train, is an awe inspiring way to enjoy the awe inspiring scenery of the Highlands. The Fort William to the Mallaig trip takes you on a breathtaking ride through the glens. One of the most riveting parts of the tour is traveling across the Glenfinnan Viaduct, which the majority of travelers will know thanks to the fact that it was used in the movies of the exploits of Harry Potter and his pals. The 84 mile excursion takes you past Ben Nevis, Loch Morar and Loch Nevis, with a break in Glenfinnan before arriving in Mallaig. There is about an hour and half in which to look around Mallaig, before the return journey, back to Fort William. This journey has repeatedly been described as, one of the Great Railway Journeys of the planet.
